What’s included:

  • Assessment of your existing beds, soil, and irrigation

  • Selection of resilient, drought-tolerant plants for year-round structure and seasonal layers

  • A clear planting plan showing exact plant positions

  • Full plant list with quantities, care notes, and spacing

  • Guidance for planting and maintenance

Perfect for: borders that need rethinking, new extensions, or anyone wanting a beautiful Mediterranean aesthetic without redesigning their whole garden.

Moving into a new home in Spain comes with a learning curve: new microclimates, unfamiliar plants, and design choices left by previous owners. This consultation gives you clarity, confidence, and a clear plan for what to keep, what to change, and where to begin.

What’s included:

  • On-site walk-through of your garden

  • Identification of existing plants (what thrives, what struggles, what to remove)

  • Immediate, practical design recommendations

  • Suggestions for improving layout, irrigation, shade, privacy, and planting

  • A personalised action plan for your first 3–6 months

Perfect for: anyone who has recently moved into a new home and wants to make smart, thoughtful decisions about their outdoor space before diving into a redesign.

About me and why I design gardens here

When I trained as a garden designer in South East London in 2006, my focus was on small urban gardens — spaces that had to be low-maintenance yet full of life, making the most of the city’s sheltering microclimates. I loved the challenge of creating balance in limited spaces: beauty without fuss, structure softened by texture, a rhythm of colour that carried through the seasons.

When I moved full-time to the Málaga province in August 2024, everything I knew about planting needed to be reimagined. The light, the soil, the rhythm of the seasons — all were different. I found myself learning the language of this landscape: the silvery greens of olive and lavender, the quiet strength of drought-tolerant plants, the importance of shade and air.

My new garden, at 400 metres elevation, has become my test ground — a living experiment in designing with less water and more intention. Every season teaches me something new about resilience, simplicity, and how beauty here depends on working with the climate, not against it.

Today, my work focuses on helping international homeowners on the Costa del Sol fall in love with gardens that truly belong to this place. I design modern Mediterranean gardens that are elegant and enduring — spaces that invite calm, embrace the light, and thrive effortlessly in their surroundings.

For me, a well-designed garden is more than an outdoor space. It’s a way of living with ease, awareness, and connection to the land that sustains us.
